Helping a $10M Grant Winning Stanford Bioengineering Lab Collaboratively Define Success, A Shared Vision and Momentum Towards an Audacious Goal   

Most projects in academia take years to build. In bioengineering, research at this scale can take up to 10 years to become a product. Markus Covert, an Associate Professor of Bioengineering at Stanford, wanted to do things differently. After getting a $10M grant, he hired me to facilitate a two-day design sprint with 32 scientists to kick-off the project. In two days, I helped his lab generate 31 concepts for a website to share data they discover on Salmonella infections.
